Ascending

by Diva Joan Cartwright

Lots of things in my life have changed since my last writing.

  1. I became a great grandmother
  2. I own three houses
  3. I'm writing a new book

The true sign of change is aging. When I first moved to Atlanta with my daughter Mimi of THE CAUSTIC DAMES, I was inundated with too much information about myself. First of all, I was automatically thrown into the role of Grandmother, which was far outside of my day-to-day existence in Fort Lauderdale because I wasn't living in close proximity to my grandchildren. So, nobody was calling me "Mommom" or "Grandma", except telephonically.

In Atlanta, however, every member of the Hip Hop scene called me "Mom" until I told them that my name is "Joan" and I prefer to be called that by those other than my immediate offspring. It really didn't take, though. They all, from 18-40, call me "Mom", as long as I accompany my daughter to her shows.

My six-year-old granddaughter, Maelle, does call me "Joan". She's been doing that for three years. She calls her maternal Grandmother "Mona". In our estimation Maelle is the most intelligent of all of our seed, so far!

My frustration was vented in an article I wrote for WORDS WE SPEAK, another newsletter I compile of slightly less spiritual matter. See, GRANDMOTHERHOOD and MOTHERHOOD.

The point is that I AM chronologically challenged. Aging has a way of pushing you towards dealing with your mortality. My contention is that we, on Planet Earth, don't sufficiently study the phenomenon of death, which is, by the way, the only thing we're sure we'll experience in this life.

Remember:
I AM a Mighty Presence in the Universe.

SUPREME LUXURY

As Divine Beings, we have access to the unlimited Supply of the Universe. It is necessary, as Beings with Free Will, for us to CALL, COMMAND and DEMAND this access. Angels, Guardians and Ascended Beings stand by, waiting for our call, waiting for us to connect with our I AM PRESENCE, the connection to our God/Goddess Selves that enables us to immediately have all that we need to live a happy life.  GaiaNews Index

MIGHTY I AM PRESENCE

Thirty-five years of metaphysical study has led me to the conclusion that the only task I have at hand is to consciously call on my MIGHTY I AM PRESENCE to come down into my human existence, sweep away all discord and return my LIFE to PERFECTION and HARMONY.

Thank you
God/Goddess in Me!

As an Ascended Being, I AM passing this call for peace and harmony on to my readers. Remember: Words are Power!

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men –
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the center which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
